Graves and recovery
Graves are not implemented yet. Death currently preserves your inventory. The following describes the intended policy.
A chance to return for what you lost
You prepare for an underground expedition, but a monster brings it to an end. Recovering your equipment becomes the next journey. The planned grave is a one-block tombstone placed relative to where you died.
Eligible Web2 items will move into it from your ordinary inventory, hot slots and equipped gear. Web3 items, unique facilities and other protected unique items are excluded from grave transfer and expiry loss.
Five minutes to get back
- On death, eligible Web2 items move into your grave.
- Respawn at a safe point near the initial portal with full health and temporary protection.
- Return and interact with your own grave to request recovery. Other players cannot take its items.
- Five minutes after death, the grave and any items still inside disappear. They are not automatically returned by mail.
Your grave is not your respawn point. The return route and preparation time matter.
Another death, or not enough room?
Multiple graves and their maximum count are TBU. The direction under review is to preserve each grave’s items and original expiry, rather than overwrite the previous grave.
Partial recovery when capacity or weight is full, automatic re-equipping, safe placement, and the treatment of facility inputs, pet storage and dungeon-session items will be documented when finalized. These are not available behaviors today.
Why better preparation matters
Better equipment and a carefully chosen route help you survive the expedition and return for another chance. Planned Web3 Items connect with an ownership experience excluded from grave expiry loss. Being Web3 does not itself mean stronger stats or invulnerability.
