Controls and interaction
Learn the interaction patterns once and use them across your inventory and facilities.
Follow the in-game controls
Use the controls shown in the current game build for movement, camera, equipment and menus. Input is reserved for text while a search field or chat is focused; finish typing or leave the field before using game shortcuts.
Default keyboard controls
| Action | Default input |
|---|---|
| Move | W / A / S / D |
| Look around | Move the mouse |
| Jump | Space |
| Inventory | Tab |
| Menu | Escape |
| Chat | Enter |
| Cycle camera mode | F5 |
| Cycle hot slots | Mouse wheel |
| Previous / next block shape | Q / E |
Editable bindings can be changed in the game’s control settings. The table describes defaults, not a replacement for your saved bindings.
Item slots
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Move an item | Pick it up and place it in an allowed slot |
| Right-click a stack | Split the stack using the inventory interaction |
| Distribute across slots | Include the source slot when it is part of the selected distribution |
| Double-click in a facility workspace | Transfer between the inventory and facility input area |
| Click a recipe | Add materials for one more craft |
| Shift-click a recipe | Add a target of ten more crafts, up to 99 |
Distribution stays inside the area where it starts: inventory and facility input slots are separate groups. The output preview is a display, not an item you can drag.

A disabled button means the action is not currently available. During continuous crafting, use Stop to end the remaining sequence. A request already being processed may finish first.
