Gather and discover

Look at the landscape as a collection of possibilities: a material, a building surface, or the start of your next recipe.

Prepare for a trip

Check your available inventory slots and weight before gathering. Items have their own stack limits; a stack moving to another slot does not necessarily mean something went wrong. Equipment with individual state does not stack like ordinary materials.

Collect with a purpose

Use the appropriate tool and follow the game’s interaction feedback. Terrain, world permissions and the target item determine whether an action is allowed. Some environmental objects exist only in the world and cannot become inventory items.

A useful first goal is to gather enough for a recipe you want. The recipe list can show missing materials, so you can return with a clear target instead of filling every slot indiscriminately.

Build with what you find

Craft an item or start a build. Item definitions and recipes may change with a release; the game catalog is the current source for exact quantities.
