Token & EconomyWhat is ACR?

What is ACR?

ACR (Akkadia Community Rune) is a community contribution token used during Akkadia’s test / alpha / early stabilization phase.

ACR is not the live economy token. It is designed as a layer that records the activities of early participants who explore, use, and validate Akkadia. For the overall context, see the token overview. For the live-phase token, see AMT.

The Role of ACR

Akkadia’s early phase is not a simple preview.

This is the period where we can only validate the system through real usage:

  • Whether the world structure works in practice
  • Whether blocks and contracts are used as intended
  • Whether gameplay flows and on-chain cost structures are reasonable

All of this can only be verified through actual participation and on-chain interaction. ACR exists to turn those actions into a meaningful contribution record, instead of letting them disappear as “test-only activity.”

ACR in the Token Lifecycle

Phase-specific Token

ACR is used only during the test and early stabilization phase. In the live environment, AMT (Akkadia Main Token) is used.

The token flow is designed as a phased lifecycle:

  1. Early phase
    • ACR is active
    • Play, exploration, and on-chain usage are recorded as contribution
  2. Live phase
    • AMT is introduced
    • World maintenance, utility execution, and the creator economy become active
  3. Bridge
    • ACR accumulated in the early phase can be converted into AMT under predefined criteria

This ensures early contributors’ efforts do not vanish into test logs, but can connect to the live world’s value system.

What ACR Is (and Is Not)

CategoryACR
PhaseTest / Alpha / Early stabilization
PurposeRecord participation and contribution
Core natureCumulative activity signal
Designed for trading
Live economy token

ACR is not a reward point and not an investment asset. ACR records not “how much you earned,” but how much you helped build together.

How ACR Is Earned

ACR is not something you grind through forced repetition. It accumulates naturally as you actually use Akkadia.

1. Proportional to GNO Usage

ACR accumulates as a reflection of real on-chain usage during the test phase.
ACR accumulates as a reflection of real on-chain usage during the test phase.

You can earn ACR proportional to the amount of GNO you spend inside Akkadia.

Examples:

  • Expanding a world
  • Installing blocks
  • Executing contracts
  • Other on-chain interactions

This is not designed to “reward spending.” It is designed to record real on-chain usage during the test phase as contribution.

2. Quest & Gameplay-based Contributions

ACR can also be earned through quests and general gameplay.

Examples:

  • Daily check-ins and consistent world visits
  • Reading records (books) placed at specific locations in certain worlds
  • Writing and deploying contract blocks
  • Exploration and interaction within Akkadia

These activities connect directly to Akkadia’s core gameplay loop: explore knowledge, record it, and build.

Design Principles

ACR is designed around these principles:

  • A token dedicated to the test / stabilization phase
  • Not designed for speculation or trading
  • Does not force play
  • Does not separate community activity from on-chain usage
  • Focused on building a long-term contribution record

ACR is a system for leaving the trajectory of sustained participation, not short-term “rewards.”

Relationship with AMT

TokenRole
ACRContribution record for the early phase
AMTWorld operation in the live environment

ACR does not replace AMT. ACR is a contribution layer that exists only before AMT, and AMT is the token that powers the live world (What is AMT?).

When AMT is issued, ACR may be convertible into AMT under predefined criteria. This is the mechanism that connects early contribution to the live ecosystem.

Why ACR Comes First

Akkadia does not introduce a full live economy token during the test phase.

This is to:

  • Preserve freedom to iterate on system changes
  • Reduce balancing risk
  • Separate community participation from speculation

ACR functions as a safe layer that records participation and enables experimentation during this transitional phase.

Summary

  • ACR is a contribution token used during the test / early stabilization phase.
  • Play and on-chain usage are recorded as contribution.
  • ACR is not a reward; it is proof of participation.
  • ACR is a bridge that can connect to AMT later.

ACR is a record for those who helped create the beginning of Akkadia.
